List windows are automatically opened to display the results of a number of File Buddy searches, but you can also open a List window to work with groups of files and folders by doing any of the following:
- Choose to open an empty List window.
- Choose an item from the menu to open a List window populated with the items in the folder or folders corresponding to the menu item chosen.
- Use the command in the File Buddy contextual menu to open a new List window and populate it with the current Finder selection.
- Use the command in the File Buddy contextual menu to open a new List window and populate it with the contents of currently selected folders in the Finder.
- When a folder is selected in a List window, you can double-click its icon in the info panel of the window to view its contents in a new List window.
- Double-click a folder’s icon in an Info window to view its contents in a new List window.
- Use the and commands to open a new List window populated with the currently selected items in an existing List window.
- Open a previously saved list with the command.
